Mona

"Mona"

sketchbook page

A new sketchbook page featuring the Louvre's most famous resident, the Mona Lisa. In France they call her "La Jaconde" after the Italian "La Giaconda" or cheerful woman. They think she has a secret. Recent research suggests that her manner of dress indicates that she is pregnant or just had a child. I don't know if I'd be smiling if I didn't have eyebrows.
