When it rains, it pours

It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks. Everything is framed and ready to hang for the Chairs show. I took a few days off from the studio to catch my breath. The universe had other plans for me.

MassMarket



I'll be selling prints, stationary, and other assorted whatnot alongside the talented Amanda Atkins and Ellen Crenshaw at Mass Market 7!


Mass Market is a DIY (do it yourself) flea market where artists, crafters, clothing designers, jewelry designers, photographers record sellers, local bands, button makers, bookbinders, photographers, djs, vegan and vegetarian bakers, and many others come together for a day of swapping, sharing, selling and buying
art.

Inversion




I go through seasons with my sketchbook. Lately I have been focusing on other projects and my upcoming show, so it got put on the back burner. But I've been experimenting with the paper cuts and what better place to experiment than a sketchbook?

The left hand page was assembled from all the scraps leftover at the end of the night.

SHOW



I am so thrilled to announce that I am having a show of my work in November. The show features my explorations and iterations of chairs over the last year. And it will also be the first installation view of the 100 Chairs project.
